Yuma Conservation Garden

Just a few miles from where we live, directly across from the airport, is a park that is only open on the weekends. We enjoyed an opportunity to go see it a few weekends ago. There is a large pond full of ducks and duck feed is sold at the entrance. The boys were absolutely delighted with the experience.

The park also contains tons of old farming equipment. Alvin enjoyed showing the equipment to Liam and reminiscing about the similar machinery he used growing up on a farm.

The rest of the trail through the park meanders through gardens filled with many different kinds of cactuses. We got to see a huge Saguaro up close finally as well.

Now, every time we drive by, Liam asks to go feed the duckies. I am sure we will be back!
