Bridge to Nowhere and Yuma Army Proving Grounds

We enjoyed exploring more areas outside of Yuma with our friends from Pennsylvania yesterday. We stopped by a Yuma area landmark called the "Bridge to Nowhere" which is a long abandoned bridge that was built in the 1920s.

Just chillin'

If the unstable bridge sign doesn't deter you, maybe the bees will 😆

After this, we stopped and saw some of the tanks on display at the Army Proving Grounds in the desert outside of Yuma. YPG is one of the largest military bases in the world and conducts almost all testing for artillery and weaponry for the US military. It was interesting to see the big machinery and I was especially fascinated to see a tank that had seen combat during WWII and was completed riddled with bullet dings (not really holes because none of them went through).
